OMG, Inc., North America’s leading supplier of commercial roof fastening products, has renewed their lease at 604 Silver Street in Agawam with Development Associates.

Development Associates Welcomes PawsPlus

Development Associates has signed a lease with Community Veterinary Clinic, LLC, more commonly known as PawsPlus, for their facility located at 317 Meadow Street in Chicopee, MA.  PawsPlus joins several other tenants at this location including: Fastenal, AH Harris and Alert Ambulance.

PawsPlus was created in 1995 by Will Santana and Ken Pecoraro and has grown to become the premier provider of Community Veterinary Clinics in the country. PawsPlus provides affordable, non-emergency veterinary care through Community Clinics that are sponsored by local pet stores.  Community Veterinary Clinic, LLC has expanded into 26 states across the country.

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. Renews Lease

PrintNow.com Expands It’s Business

Development Associates is pleased to announce the expansion of PrintNow.com at their 630 Silver Street location in the Agawam Industrial Park. PrintNow.com has increased its office and production areas from 3,200 sf to 4,550 sf.

Mercy Medical Center Expands Operations at Agawam Crossing

Mercy Medical Center has recently signed a lease to house a general physicians practice at 200 Silver Street in Agawam, also known as Agawam Crossing.  Construction is currently underway for this ±3,500 sf practice and is expected to be completed in mid-April.  This practice is designed to accommodate 2-3 physicians and supporting staff.

This new practice will be the third operation that Mercy has at Agawam Crossing.  Life Laboratories, Mercy’s phlebotomy unit, opened in July, 2012 and Mercy Hearing, the region’s leading audiology practice, opened at Agawam Crossing in August, 2011.

Mercy Medical joins other complimentary practices including:  Dr. Sharon MacMillan of Associates in Women’s HealthCare, Baystate Rehabilitation and Dr. Michael Haynes, Podiatrist.

Development Associates of Agawam, MA represented the landlord in lease negotiations and is acting as Project Manager for the construction project.

Development Associates Leases 125,000 sf Manufacturing Space to Cenveo, Inc.

Development Associates has leased 125,000 sf in Chicopee, MA to Cenveo, Inc . to house it’s New England operation.

Cenveo took occupancy on August 22, 2014 after extensive renovations, equipment and power upgrades to the facility at 318 Griffith Road in Chicopee; all of which were completed on an accelerated basis.  Cenveo’s facility includes over 8,000 sf of office area, over 60,000 sf of manufacturing, a parts distribution center and warehousing for raw products and finished goods.

DA Completes 15,000 sf Expansion in Palmer, MA

Development Associates has completed a 15,000 sf warehouse expansion to it’s existing 60,000 sf facility for Novacel, Inc. located at 21 Third Street in the Palmer Industrial Park.  This expansion was initiated by the tenant, Novacel, Inc., in order to meet their warehousing needs.

Development Associates worked closely with Novacel, Inc. to meet it’s requirements including design work, budgeting and time constraints.

This building expansion  has eliminated the need for Novacel, Inc. to store  materials off-site as well as minimizing their related transportation costs.

Novacel, Inc. is a brand of Chargeurs Protective Films and is recognized worldwide as the market leader in the design, manufacture and sales of self-adhesive surface protection film solutions.

Development Associates represented the landlord in the lease transaction and acted as Project Manager for the facility expansion.  DA provides real estate leasing and management solutions for nearly two million square feet of commercial and industrial tenants throughout the northeast.

Development Associates Delivers 40,495 sf Class A Medical Space to Cooley Dickinson Hospital

Development Associates has recently completed the fitup of its newest building located at 22 Atwood Drive in Northampton, MA.  Cooley Dickinson Hospital (CDH) has taken occupancy of three floors totaling 40,495 sf of Class A Medical Space to house several of its services including:  Women’s Health, Radiology, Urgent Care and Phlebotomy.  The operations are slated to open soon and provide patient-centered care for the region.

CDH is the region’s leading Health Care provider and is affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA.

22 Atwood Drive is the second medical office building that Development Associates has constructed in Northampton.  The first, 8 Atwood Drive, is the home to New England Dermatology & Laser Center and Clinical & Support Options, Inc., a behavioral health corporation serving clients throughout Western MA.  The building was recently completed by adding a 7,856 sf space that will house a state-of-the-art pediatric and adult physical therapy office for Cooley Dickinson.

Atwood Drive is conveniently located on Route 5, just off Exit 18 on Interstate 91.

Development Associates of Agawam, MA served as construction managers, leasing agent and general contractors for all of the interior renovations on behalf of the owner, Oxbow Professional Park, LLC.  They are also working as agent for the adjacent property which has been approved and permitted for a 4-story, 80,000 sf office building and a hotel to be started when sufficient pre-leasing is secured.
