Mercy Medical Center has recently signed a lease to house a general physicians practice at 200 Silver Street in Agawam, also known as Agawam Crossing. Construction is currently underway for this ±3,500 sf practice and is expected to be completed in mid-April. This practice is designed to accommodate 2-3 physicians and supporting staff.
This new practice will be the third operation that Mercy has at Agawam Crossing. Life Laboratories, Mercy’s phlebotomy unit, opened in July, 2012 and Mercy Hearing, the region’s leading audiology practice, opened at Agawam Crossing in August, 2011.

Development Associates has leased 125,000 sf in Chicopee, MA to Cenveo, Inc . to house it’s New England operation.
Cenveo took occupancy on August 22, 2014 after extensive renovations, equipment and power upgrades to the facility at 318 Griffith Road in Chicopee; all of which were completed on an accelerated basis. Cenveo’s facility includes over 8,000 sf of office area, over 60,000 sf of manufacturing, a parts distribution center and warehousing for raw products and finished goods.

Development Associates has completed a 15,000 sf warehouse expansion to it’s existing 60,000 sf facility for Novacel, Inc. located at 21 Third Street in the Palmer Industrial Park. This expansion was initiated by the tenant, Novacel, Inc., in order to meet their warehousing needs.
Development Associates worked closely with Novacel, Inc. to meet it’s requirements including design work, budgeting and time constraints.
This building expansion has eliminated the need for Novacel, Inc. to store materials off-site as well as minimizing their related transportation costs.
Novacel, Inc. is a brand of Chargeurs Protective Films and is recognized worldwide as the market leader in the design, manufacture and sales of self-adhesive surface protection film solutions.

After nine months of construction, the temporary Franklin County Courthouse opened on time and on budget. At 101 Munson Street in Greenfield, MA, Development Associates of Agawam, MA leased the ± 57,000 sf space to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts which required a wholesale conversion of the existing office space into specialized courthouse operations. The lease with the Commonwealth of MA is for 5 years while the $60 million dollar renovation of the Main Street courthouse is completed.
101 Munson St., the former Phoenix office building, is located just off I-91. It was built in the 1970’s and has since been modernized to fit the needs of the tenants. The building is home to various tenants including the Department of Transitional Assistance, Department of Children and Families, Veteran’s Administration, Crocker Communications and others.
The new courthouse space is home to the Superior, District and Probate Courts. It also houses the Registry of Probate, District Attorney’s Office, Law Library and Jury Pool and eight holding cells. The new facility includes many improvements over the existing downtown courthouse for public safety including security at the front entrance, closed circuit video cameras and card-controlled access doors.
